And perhaps most striking of all as many as 1 million people changed jobs in the last yearv in the UK.
But beyond a sort of reckoning, what this is signalling is that if 2020 and 2021 provided us an opportunity to take the long view and ask the difficult questions, we are now ready for action. Many studies on self-care and sustainability have shown a willingness to take matters into our own hands – our own survey following COP26 showed that 71% of people want to personally do more to avoid climate change – and we believe this trend is likely to accelerate in 2022.
